The caladiums, cypress strees, and grass surrounding the Mullet Run Fountain all had the fresh scent of new rain this afternoon. The rainshowers generated by Tropical Storm Bonnie have come across south Alabama intermittently all day today. We are expecting lots more rain tonight and Sunday.

The Mullet Run Fountain is a public art piece created by Ameri’ca Jones-Gillespy. It is located in the plaza behind the Fairhope History Museum.
